We’re now using SSL on IncidentsonTeesside.com

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe and secure system, our website now has an SSL certificate.

SSL means that the connection between our website and you are secure, and data transmitted is encrypted.

This means that you are protected against any potential attacks, including people trying to steal your details whilst using open WiFi connections.

Instead of using http:// when visiting our website, you’ll now be forced to use the secure https://.

In 2017 SSL is fast becoming a required standard, with both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox now warning users of their web browsers if a website connection isn’t secure. On Apple iOS, SSL will soon be required for all apps.
